You are hereby granted permission to
Take a Risk
You can trust yourself to push the limits–those restrictions you’ve let hold you back or the status quo you thought you must go by–and free up your courage.
It doesn’t mean you have to risk it all.
But it doesn’t mean you can’t go all out and make a big splash, either.
The decisions we make about stepping out of our comfort zones (or not) and onto the edge of our fears are almost too personal to break down in blog post or email.
It can be that you’ve had good reason to protect yourself. So you’ve stayed safe at the price of moving forward or breaking away.
You have permission to move forward or break away.
Because you are allowed to direct your life. In fact, you’re kind of required to, whether you like it or not. Even though it might not always turn out the way you, or the others you want to impress, think it should.
It can be that you’ve been burned by risk-taking before. So you’ve learned the hard way that putting yourself out there means being vulnerable. Being vulnerable can hurt. Even backfire.
But it can also be that you never really believed in yourself enough to do something big, or bold, consciously. Let’s trust that you know the right time to give things a whirl. And if you happen to make a mistake, we get it.
That’s what happens to those who try things.
You can take a risk…and while you’re at it, why not enjoy the view from the edge of your limits?
