Be Unsure: Allow for Experimentation

You are hereby granted permission to

Be Unsure

You can allow for experimentation, because you really don’t know which way is right or wrong. Yet. If there even is such a thing.

It’s all well and good to clear your own path and make time for what is important to you. And it’s wonderful to own your truth, and be yourself. If you’re receiving 52 Permission Slips, you’ve been working on all this stuff for the past two months.

It’s also perfectly fine not to know how to apply all that, exactly.

So many of us have been trying for so long to give you the spunk, spark and support to move forward confidently. In a school of life sort of way.

You might like our advice, because when you begin with an idea of what to do and how to do it, you feel pretty secure in taking your next steps.

Still: a lot of the time, you don’t know, because you aren’t informed, or practiced. And what about when your advisors don’t know either? Because even though we have ideas, we haven’t been you. Not in your body, mind, heart and shoes.

Your choices might have to be made while starting from scratch, but it can be even sooner than that when your uncertainties can arise. If you don’t know what you want, you can’t know what to do. It’s like being in pre-school. You have to start somewhere.

So, yeah, of course that is fine. And normal. You can’t know what you don’t know. You’re simply going to have to make a decision.

You’ll have to move forward, unsure if you’re doing the right thing, or taking the right steps.

You’re allowed to experiment. Conduct trial runs that bring you the answers you don’t have. Yet. Because you’re still learning. And that’s alright.
